John Donne wrote that “no man is an island”.
And yet, at the same time, everyone is.
An island can be a small rock, half submerged in a stormy sea, or a vast expanse with cities, airports, countries on it. And if you look from afar, even what you call continents, are, after all, islands in the oceans.
We all are surrounded by the deep waters of what we are not.
