I grew up in town. My family has always lived in apartments.
A garden, therefore, for me has always meant something that’s shared, belongs to everybody, is a place for encounters, with enough space for everybody to fit, enough nature for everybody to enjoy, enough people to meet someone else.
“The garden”, the public garden, was actually a park, and I used to go there riding on the tube of my uncle’s bicycle. And going there was pure joy, freedom, discovery, fun. And icecreams.
Later on I discovered it is also filled with colours, art, beauty.
So here is a very small gallery of the garden of my childhood.
