Back after a long silence. I’m sorry. Work and family business, plus some extra stuff, the more pleasant of which can be classified as Streptococci, kept me away from these pages a bit too long.
Nevertheless, I realized that never during my absence were my poplars left unattended by you readers. And for this I am really grateful.
As a reboot: green. I don’t know if it’s universal: over here, green is the colour of hope. Probably because when you see green in a landscape, that means that there is something alive, that life there can endure.
And I think that this photo, taken last summer in the Alps, shows exactly life’s success and failure in conquering space. The line is jagged, but it’s sharp.
