Stars, finally

Yesterday they trimmed the poplars.
All afternoon my younger boy was looking out of the living-room window, asking why there was a naked man in the garden. Of course the man wasn’t naked, just bare-chested and working hard.
The elder spent his afternoon sleeping in his bed or on the living-room sofa, as he has a fever, so he didn’t see any naked men in the garden, but he couldn’t miss the caterpillar that was removing the branches from the ground.
His temperature caused me to run from work to the kindergarten and take him home, but I got a flat on my way, and I had no time to change the tyre, so I had to abandon the vehicle, call my wife, who was about to leave for the airport, and ask for a ride, then call my mother, who was counting on me giving her a ride to another airport and advise her to call a taxi.
All the flying women reached their destination. So, while mother is in Germany and grandmother at the London Book Fair, it’s three boys and a virus at home.
And Arcturus last night. You can see him shining close to the fir tree in the distance. Close to the central poplar you can also see Mizar and Alioth (while Alkaid is hidden by its trunk), our friends from the Big Dipper. After a long day, the surprise of the first real starry night discovered while taking pictures at the pruned poplars was relieving.
So cool!
Glad you like it! 🙂 Thanks for coming and leaving your fingerprints!
You’re welcome and sorry about the fingerprints. Next time I’ll wash my hands better. (smiles)
oh nooo! we love fingerprints! 🙂
Okay!
