I am in the middle of an orange week myself, when I’m caught by this A Word A Week Challenge tinged of orange.
And there go three pictures. So I wanted to look for something different, and the first thing orange I saw in the house was an orange paper bag. An orange paper bag at the end of its career, I must add, as my wife, cruelly, decided it’s our paper garbage bag for the week.
Poor thing, I thought it deserved some final glory, so I used it as my model for these pictures.
Unfortunately I coupled it with things that eventually turned out to be more interesting than the paper bag itself.
A glass of our daily set…
… my elder son’s chickpea plant…
… or some orange stuff I collected on the kitchen table…
So, even if my intentions were good, dear orange paperbag, you ended up consistently in the background. I hope you are understanding enough to see that sometimes your job is to stand in the back and shine. Especially if you’re papery. And orange.
