Ok, in case you were wondering, the colours of the rainbow are, traditionally: red, orange, yellow, green, blue, indigo and violet. Traditionally. In reality the white light spectrum contains virtually an infinity of different colours, but of course I need to stop my imagination somewhere, so the seven traditional ones are more handy than the infinite physical nuances.
Besides, being these the “coloured weeks”, for each colour I intend to publish seven posts. I know, I’m not following the colours as a chain, it’s like every week I’m introducing a new colour even if the seven posts of the previous are not completed yet; after all, it’s difficult to understand where one colours begins or ends, in the rainbow, exactly for the reason stated in the previous paragraph.
In the end, there will be forty-nine coloured posts. Then I’ll probably want to study something for white, black, grey and other non-rainbow-featured colours. But that will happen in a while.
For now, it’s time to introduce a new hero: Mr Yellow.
Of course it’s flowers, it’s flowers time.
I have no idea what kind of flowers, actually. It’s a fat plant sleeping on my windowsill, with fatty green leaves that turn reddish, with the exploit of these yellow flowers these days.
And again, more of these yellow flowers:
Which one do you prefer? I couldn’t choose.
It’s possible that one of the next Yellow week posts will bring more, maybe in HDR. We’ll see.
For now, have a yellow day!
