Some more yellows from my neighbourhood.
First of all, as promised, a (pseudo-)HDR version of one of the pictures already posted here. [Pseudo- as in raw handling fake bracketing, if that is any clearer to you].
Always the same plant, whatever that one is, on my windowsill. Curiously enough, “my” windowsill doesn’t mean that I have windows on my person, I’m just referring to my study room. And that window is quite often closed and blinded, as during these last three years I’ve been working in an office at the Department of Physics. And basically I realized the flowers were there when I went outside with the children and their bikes, and passed in front of said windowsill.
I have no idea what the water demand of this plant is, but apparently it had enough from the copious rains of these weeks: were it for the humans, it’d be quite thirsty.
Next, another yellow presence in our lawns and meadows these days. And also quite human-independent.
Of course dandelions, daisies, speedwells tend to colonize any possible grassy field. And since speedwells are not yellow, they’ll have to wait for their turn to appear. For now, just yellow ones.
And soon we’ll also have chamomile, which just does look like a small daisy with a sweet smell. Since the smell is not photogenic, this picture counts for chamomile as well.
