Now I don’t know why that zero in “Tr0pical”. It cannot be latitude, or it would have been “Equat0rial”. It cannot be longitude, or it should have read something like “From Sahara to T0go”. So I imagine it must be just a fancy ting Sue added to spice up her challenge, and as such I am g0ing to keep it.
Now, tr0pical. I haven’t been in many tropical places. Actually only one set of tropical places, beautiful T’n’T.
Last time we went it was the first time with the children, in 2011. The elder (then 3 y.o.) decided to catch a virus and display his conquest at the origin airport, in Bologna. We almost missed the London flight because he had to be changed from socks to shirt, right while we were boarding. Unforgettable experience. It took about 4 days to get his stomach to reboot, and I suspect granny Sandra’s dhal must have sped up the healing.
Anyway, what is different in tr0pical countries from my temperate one is that they only have two seasons. And while the dry season is just a dry season, the rainy season exhibits the best, low, fast moving, tone and shade changing skies. Of course I like the rainy season better than the dry one. Or it could simply be a case of fox and grapes, who knows.
So here is some tr0pical rainy seas0n.
