This one was taken in Siena several years ago, at the end of January.
My wife and I took a long weekend off, and just dove into the wettest holiday we ever had.
Of course, a city that’s built in red bricks, under unceasing drizzle, tends to turn brown, or sepia tone, at leisure.
So this is the brown/sepia-tone version of otherwise brick red courtyard of the Palazzo Pubblico, with the Torre del Mangia against a white rainy sky.
