Some say that science holds little poetry.

It may be the case. Or maybe it’s just a matter of perspective, a case of beauty and the beholder’s eye.

So, my university first-year physics teacher used to tell us: “big, small… how big? how small? if you mean anything by these adjectives, you need specify a term of comparison, or a point of perspective”.

I guess he meant something like this:
